在2004年上半年，Hexamite将完成HX5系列超声定位系统 - 我们的第二代超声波定位系统的开发。HX5系列将利用异步差分定位技术，提供更快、更准确的定位功能。 Hexamite也将为HX5提供一个开发包，使开发商进入该系统的内部运作，为具体应用量身订作。

Hexamite is an OEM that manufactures a variety of ultrasonic devices for use in research and industry.  While Hexamite offers ultrasonic devices for a variety of application, our focus is on the development and manufacture of Ultrasonic Positioning Systems.  We work with our customers to develop solutions for their specific applications using Hexamite Ultrasonic Devices.

 

In late 2001, Hexamite completed development on our first-generation Local Positioning System (LPS), the HX900 Series Ultrasonic Positioning System.  This series of LPS is a simple yet versatile absolute positioning system that provides accurate positioning data for interpretation by user created software.

 

In the first half of 2004, Hexamite will complete development on the HX5 Series Ultrasonic Positioning System, our second-generation ultrasonic LPS.  The HX5 series will utilize asynchronous differential positioning technology to provide faster and more accurate positioning capabilities.  Hexamite will also be offering a development package for the HX5 that gives a developer access to the system's internal operations allowing customisation for specific applications. 

 

In conjunction with the release of the HX5 Series LPS, Hexamite will also release a graphical user interface.  This software will assist in the installation and mapping of the monitors, and will display, in real-time, the positions of transmitters on a predefined area map, or in a table format.   The graphical interface was created to complement the new HX5 Series LPS, but can be used with any of Hexamite's Positioning Systems.
